Self Care Week
This year has been extremely challenging for everyone, we recognized the need to ensure we are taking care of ourselves and making time to prioritize our wellness. In light of recent events we introduced our very first Virtual Self Care Week in collaboration with @congolesefashionbloggers. It is an annual awareness week that focuses on being knowledgeable about your health and taking measures to stay well. It is a time that reminds us that taking care of ourselves, first and foremost, is essential. Become more health conscious and choose healthy options that will impact positively on your physical health as well as your mental wellbeing and self esteem.
Self Care Week is a great opportunity for us all to invest in our health - if we don’t already, by making small changes that can make a big difference for life! True self care, isn't self-centered nor selfish. In fact, it's an amazing way to improve all facets of your mental and physical health, as well as your relationships with others and with yourself. It is simply keeping yourself the focus of your own life. It’s about paying attention to how you feel in each moment.
During this week we focus on our collective wellness and mental health. Our first week was a great success where we had a week full of activities from meditation to cooking, reflection and stillness, exercising, honest conversations and everything skin care.
